Title: Ted

Genre: Black comedy 

Plot: A young wakes up to find himself in a parallel world where he is the only human in a world populated by teddy bears, he tells himself that it's just a dream and that none of it is real. But since he can't seem to wake up so he decides to embrace this world for now, but as soon as he does he starts to doubt his sanity and tries to seek help from a psychiatrist (who is also a teddy bear). The psychiatrist convinces him that this world is real and the young man decides to stay in this world, and calls it home. 

Other devices: 

• We don't find out the young man's name until the end of the film, this is to emphasize the idea that he isn't sure of who he is anymore, and we never find out who he is which leaves the film on a slight cliff hanger.
• Dark lighting and a frequent use of drab colours creates a dark feel to the film which contradicts the ridiculousness of the actual content (the fact that teddy bears populate earth instead of humans), i will also use dark and atmospheric music to help expand this dark mood. 
• I will use a narrator in order to establish the scenes and possibly the characters.
